1. Who we are

VehDB (the “Service”) — including the website at vehdb.com, the dashboard, the REST API and the MCP server — is operated by:

We are a company registered in the Republic of Estonia, a member state of the European Union. These Terms form a binding agreement between Savas OÜ (“we”, “us”) and you or the company you represent (“you”).

2. The Service

VehDB provides a vehicle specification database (cars, motorcycles, power boats and tire fitments) accessible through a web dashboard, a REST API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Features and quotas depend on your subscription plan as described on the pricing page.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and API tokens. Anything done with your credentials is your responsibility.
  • One account per user. If you need multiple users for your company, contact us about team options.

4. Subscriptions, billing & taxes

  • Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
  • Prices may exclude VAT. For EU business customers with a valid VAT number, reverse-charge rules may apply; applicable VAT is calculated at checkout.
  • Quota and rate limits per plan are enforced automatically. We may offer overage or custom quotas under a separate agreement.

5. Acceptable use of data and API

  • You may use the data within your products and internal workflows, including caching results you retrieved.
  • You may not resell, redistribute or republish the database (or substantial parts of it) as a standalone dataset or competing data product without a separate data licence from us.
  • You may not circumvent rate limits, quotas or plan gating (e.g. credential sharing, scraping the website to avoid API metering).
  • API tokens are for your organisation's use only and must not be embedded in publicly readable client-side code.

6. Data accuracy

Vehicle data is aggregated from manufacturer and industry sources. We work to keep it accurate and current, but it is provided “as is” without warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify safety-critical information (e.g. tire fitments, load ratings) against the vehicle's official documentation.

7. Availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on self-serve plans. Scheduled maintenance and emergency fixes may cause downtime. Service level agreements are available on Enterprise plans.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and database compilation, is owned by Savas OÜ and protected by copyright and the EU Database Directive (96/9/EC) sui generis database right. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; it transfers no ownership.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms (notably Section 5), with notice where practicable. Upon termination your API tokens are revoked.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved by Harju County Court, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
